Combine learning with activities during the summer and improve your English!

The City School of Languages' Summer Vacation course is for young learners aged 16+ who want to practice and improve their language skills in a dynamic and culturally enriching environment. Our project-based classes help you to activate what you have studied at school and use English with greater confidence. 

Activities include opportunities to learn about Swansea, by visiting the local sights, art galleries, museums and attractions of the city such as the beaches, nature walks, sports, Swansea Marina, Mumbles, Gower and the dynamic city centre.

• Increase your ability in reading, writing, listening and speaking

• Develop the skills you need for study and pleasure

•  Build your confidence using English every day

• Immerse yourself in the English language and British culture

Course Information: 

​

• SUMCAMP 20 - 20 lessons of General English, including project based work and afternoon activities

• You will need to demonstrate at least an  Elementary  level of English to join the junior course.

• Minimum Class Size - 5

• Maximum Class Size - 12

• Minimum Age - 16 

• Start any Monday (dates in June to August 2024 to be confirmed)

• Minimum of 1 week enrolment

• Students are expected to do 1 hour of homework daily

• Supervision of activities by DBS-checked CSL staff
